Traditional, locally sourced, British food
The Town Hall Tavern's menu contains classic pub meals, reimagined with modern twists to make even a quick lunch something special. We pride ourselves on working with local, family run suppliers for all of our fresh ingredients. All of our fresh, free range meats are from Yorkshire's finest R&J farm in Kirkby Malzeard in North Yorkshire, a family run business of over 40 years. Our fresh fish is supplied daily by Ramus Seafood Emporium, another family run, local fishmonger based in Harrogate; they won 'Fishmonger of the Year 2017' at last year's Farm Shop & Deli Awards, and have been established for over 40 years. Cryer & Stott supply all of our free range eggs and a range of delicious cheeses, all of which are available on our popular cheeseboards.
Our speciality cheeseboards are perfect for a light lunch or to share with friends, with a selection of four quality cheeses: Yorkshire Cask, a collaboration with Leeds Brewery, where their Hellfire Ale is blended with rich creamy cheddar; The Duke of Wellington, a buttery Yorkshire cheese added to French Roquefort blue cheese; St Helens Goat, an award winning mild, hard cheese milked from goats at St Helens farm in York; and finally, Endeavour, a highly sought after, double cream cow's milk cheese that is the world's only cheese that is washed in Mason's Yorkshire Tea Gin.
